Gardening Program

John Jecha, from Green Glen Garden Center in Joliet, IL., will be at the Peotone Public Library on Tuesday, March 22th, 6pm - 7:45pmHe will be discussing spring preparation for your yard and garden along with helpful hints on planting bulbs.

Topics to Discuss:
1.    Fertilizing your lawn / major and minor nutrients
2.    When to put down weed killers / liquid or granular / which is better
3.    Spring is a good time to spread grass seed / fill in the bare spots
4.    Getting your garden ready for the tomatoes and other veggies
5.    Spring is a good time to plant trees and shrubs
 
 There will be time for questions and you can bring along samples of plant problems or if you have a plant that needs identification.
