This presentation is at the Monee Historical Society. \nJoin Chicago architect and Director of Works for the 1893 Columbian Exposition\, Daniel Burnham\, for a relaxing day at the fair. Experience the grandeur of the Columbian Exposition and learn about its origins\, exhibits\, and the people and politics involved in creating Burnham’s White City. \nThis program is sponsored by the Peotone Public Library District. The presentation will be held at the Heritage Center in Monee (the old creamery building at Fireman’s park)\, the beautifully restored mid-19th century building is the perfect location for this historical event.
