Registration instructions will be available 6-7 weeks prior to the drive.

Every two seconds, someone in America needs blood. On Tuesday July 7th we’ll roll up our sleeves and help save lives! Peotone Public Library District will proudly partner with the American Red Cross to hold what we expect to be the first of many blood drives. Each pint of blood collected can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more.

The Red Cross has over 135 years of experience providing humanitarian aid including more than 75 years of supplying blood to those in need.

Walk In’s will also be welcome.

To be eligible to donate blood you must:

-Be at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission)

-Meet height and weight requirements (at least 110 pounds based on height)

-Be in generally good health

-Government photo I.D. or donor card
